Beescornu
(PD- #11)

© Periphaeria Designs

Your first thought may be ''Now, what's all this then? This is not a biscornu!''.
The fact is that this design was originally designed to be a biscornu, but in middle of model stitching these little bees told me that they want to be a pincushion. Hence, oddly named pincushion which you can also finish as a biscornu, an ornament, a needlebook... what ever you wish.

The actual story behind Beescornu has to do with my curiosity.
You see, I am allergic to all kind of buzzing critters, bees being one of them, and I was curious could I design something beautiful using something I dread as a theme. And, even I say so, it came out beautifully. :)

This design contains two charts: one with bees, one with only the leaves/ flower, but slightly modified.

Design size: 51x 51 stitches.

Model is stitched on 40 count natural linen with Atalie's Lhassa silk.

Price: *.pdf 3,8€ (appr. $5) - File contains finishing instructions.
