Lumikukkia
(PD- #16)

© Periphaeria Designs

This design set was inspired by a piece of burgundy linen which a friend, and a business partner, sent to me just around the time when I was thinking of a wintery ornament set which everyone could stitch and use regardless of their religious views and holidays they celebrate or the location they reside in.
I had one additional criteria and that was that these designs could be finished several different ways, and I am sure these would make a great scissor fob or a miniature biscornu.

The name of the set is Finnish, and it translates as Flowers of the Snow or Snow Flowers. I decided to use it as into my ear Lumikukkia sounds just what this ornament set is all about and, as we know, every snowflake is an unique frozen flower.

I have added coloured version of each of the tiles as a gift from me to you. (Sneak peek here)

Design size: each tile is 29 x 29 stitches.

Monochromatic model is stitched on 30 count burgundy linen with DMC 712; coloured versions is stitched on 36 count flax Belfast linen with DMC threads (key is attached with the charts).

Price: *.pdf 6,7€ (appr. $9.1) - File contains finishing instructions.
